Heroes Build: SFC revisits GK Medsa/Canada Village

Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008 GK MEDSA/CANADA Village Tibungco, Davao City -- Singles for Christs` North, Central and South Clusters` gathered together for a 1 day build. A Heroes Build.
Finished a year ago, SFC`s revisited the houses they`ve built from scratch. Now with beneficiaries living in them, the singles spent a day talking, playing, listening and eating with them.
SFC`s also participated in painting the other houses that are currently being built. Hopefully these too will have beneficiaries living in them by the end of the year.
During the afternoon, children living in and out the village were in for a treat, they were gathered and enjoined to a Childrens Party where they ate and had fun games with their SFC Kuya`s and Ate`s.
Truly it was an inspiring sight to behold to. From a barren land, SFC`s saw the transformation. Not just the structure but also the people living in them.
On this day we commemorate a national hero, Andres Bonifacio and what a special day for SFC`s, being called to be heroes in its own right, Heroes in Nation Building.
